A "Nomiie" from the "A Glimpse into the Misunderstood" show at Pop Gallery. This series is based on autism and the many unique secrets it holds. The peculiar aspects of its development are what is called a spectrum. The animals are just a mere gateway to this misunderstood disease. They foretell the stories of many individuals that live day by day with this cognitive disease.
"Children with autism show emotion in a very different way that can be misunderstood. The reflected emotion may not sometimes be very clear and in many cases autistic children can recognize emotion but they cannot express it. The animals in the background are representing the emotions that Amber cannot reflect. This piece is also an interpretation of our darkest hours."
