Created for the Nursery Rhyme show at Pop gallery in 2017, this image is inspired by the "Queen of Hearts" nursery rhyme based on the characters found on playing cards.

A whimsical interpretation of the iconic Queen of Hearts, this piece blends regal elegance with storybook charm. Surrounded by heart-shaped topiary and rich red-and-black details, the Queen holds a tiny heart in her hand - a playful nod to the character's commanding personality and famous obsession with hearts. Jessica Von Braun's delicate, dreamlike style gives this familiar character an enchanting new presence.

Jessica starts all her art prints with an original done with colored pencils and watercolor. Then she translates that image into her computer to create a vibrant and colorful digital image with variations and enhancements from that original image.
