Inspired in no small part by his own granddaughter and daughter. Mackenzie wanted to create a piece that required little explanation. This sculpture is a heart-bursting celebration of innocence and love. Take a minute or two and bask in the joy radiating from this little Sweetheart. More than thirty years ago, Mackenzie created his first ‘big-headed’ child to symbolize his belief that we should strive to keep our heads as open as we can. They remind us that all children are born innocent without prejudice or guile, their heads full of boundless potential.
